As regards the kitchen & scullery, apart from the question of ... their position, I would call attention to the fact that they are lighted only by a row of very small clerestory windows facing the South and fully exposed to the sun; that the lift leads directly into the kitchen whence the lift traffic could carry kitchen smells to all the floors of the building; and that the W.C. would be better hidden behind the wall.
